The Boonville Police Department began a criminal investigation based on allegations against a Boonville man of alleged sexual acts with children.

Boonville Police developed probable cause for the arrest of Troy Reed and arrested him on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 and transported to the Cooper County Jail.

According to court documents, Reed has been charged with six counts of sexual acts with children.

Bond has been set at $1,000,000.

No court date has been set.
