Lane closures are scheduled on I-70 in Lafayette County soon.

Crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation will close the westbound lane at Interstate 70 at Lefholz bridge between Oak Grove and Grain Valley as part of pavement repair operations beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 13, until approximately 6 a.m. Sunday, May 14. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
