A Warrensburg man was moderately injured in a two-vehicle accident in Johnson County on Monday, June 5, 2023.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Antonia Holtey slowed down in the roadway and was struck by a vehicle driven by Colton Drake. Drake’s vehicle skidded off the roadway and came to rest after impacting a tree.

Drake was transported by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center with moderate injuries. Holtey suffered minor injuries and was also transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.

The accident occurred at 7:05 a.m. on Missouri Route 23 in Johnson County.
