4 p.m. UPDATE: Both lanes have been reopened.

The westbound lane of Interstate 70 has been closed due to a multiple-vehicle accident on the Rocheport Bridge.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, eastbound I-70 was reduced to one lane for response vehicles assisting with crash clearance. One of the vehicles involved reportedly had a trailer with cattle.

Traffic is being diverted at Exit 121. MoDOT estimates the lanes can be reopened at approximately 4 p.m. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes.
