The Marshall Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 18244 Highway 65 at approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 15.

According to the department, upon arrival at the scene a machine shed was fully involved. Sweet Springs and Slater Fire Departments were called for tankers and manpower to assist. The owner stated he had been welding in the shop earlier in the day.

No injuries were reported.

Damage is estimated at $125,000 for the building and $150,000 for the contents.
