The Marshall Chamber of Commerce recognized the Citizen and Business of the Year during its annual awards banquet on Thursday, June 15.

The Citizen of the Year was Sandy Hisle, who served as the president of the Chamber’s Board of Directors for several years; and currently serves as the President of the Marshall-Saline Development Corporation Board.

The Business of the Year was Springwater Greenhouse and Landscaping, who has served the central-Missouri area for more than 25 years.

In addition to those awards, the Patriotism Committee members and volunteers were recognized and honored for their contributions to the community.
