Ruthye M. Bolden, 76, of Slater, died Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital & Clinics.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 7, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Slater, with Pastor Rufus Robinson officiating. Weiker Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born May 5, 1947 in Jones, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Jossie Lee Crenshaw Bolden.

She Is survived by a brother, Rufus Bolden, Jr. of Slater; two sisters, Ramona Britton of Kansas City, Missouri and Lunnie Vargis of Columbia; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Bolden, Quillar Bolden, and Bertha Robinson.

Miss Bolden retired from Con-Agra Frozen Foods in Marshall, and was a long-time Slater resident.
