The Pettis County Commission took several actions during its session on Friday, July 7.

The commission started by approving a resolution stating that Pettis County will withhold any voluntary payments to any entity that has legal action against the county. A lawsuit was brought against the commission and IT Department in February for alleged non-consensual recordings.

Also, the commission voted in favor of agreeing and acknowledging the commitment to pay the match on the Safe Streets for All grant, which is 20 percent. This totals $66,530.
