Johnson County Clerk, Diane Thompson has announced that the voters within the Warrensburg city limits will have a ballot issue on the August 8, 2023 Special Election.

Thompson noted that, because only voters within the City of Warrensburg are eligible to vote on the issuance of sewer revenue bonds, voting will be consolidated to the Elks Lodge located at 822 East Young Avenue. For this election only, City of Warrensburg voters that normally vote at the First United Methodist Church and the Grover Park Baptist Church will cast their ballot at the Elks Lodge. This is an update from a previous news release that listed Grover Park Family Life Center as the polling location.

A postcard mailer will be sent to all households within the City of Warrensburg with at least one active registered voter residing there to notify them of the election and the change in polling locations.
