
The Lexington City Council discussed ongoing street work during its meeting on Tuesday, July 11.
City Administrator Mark O’Dell stated the city has had a significant street project over the last two summers and most of the streets will have had micro surfacing, chip and seal application or overlay. O’Dell stated that approximately 160 more tons of wedging is need to complete the contract before chip and seal is applied.
The council approved $26,640 to complete the contract.
