The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen approved amending an ordinance involving residences in the central busines district during its meeting on Tuesday, July 18.

City Administrator Scott Peterson stated the existing ordinance was confusing pertaining to what a residence could look like.

In other news from the meeting, the board discussed a possible ordinance to ban cell phone use while driving inside city limits. The ban would be in accordance with a recently passed Missouri state law that bans cell phone use while driving state wide. After discussion, the board decided not to pass the ordinance at the present time.
