
The Lexington City Council considered a resolution with the City of Higginsville for police and fire dispatching during its meeting on Tuesday, July 25.
City Administrator Mark O’Dell said the City of Higginsville handles 911 calls for Lexington.
The council passed two resolutions to renew the agreements for police and fire dispatching services. The quarterly fee for police dispatching is $2,780, with a renewal fee of $3,375. The quarterly fee for fire dispatching is $3,665, with a renewal fee of $4,570. The council passed both resolutions.
