A Fayette woman and a one-year-old infant were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Callaway County on Sunday, July 30.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Haley Robertson traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck two embankments and a fence. Robertson was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt or a safety device.

Robertson and an infant in the vehicle were transported to University Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 7:20 p.m.on Route B at Route EE in Callaway County.
