A Heat Advisory has been issued for several counties in the KMMO listening from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 2.

Heat index values of up to 106 degrees are expected and individuals are reminded hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

The advisory is in effect in Lafayette, Saline, Johnson, Pettis and Cooper Counties.
