The Pettis County Road and Bridge Department will be spraying oil in preparation for chip and seal surfacing on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 on Griessen Road and Rattlesnake Hill Road. Chip and seal will be laid on Thursday, August 17.

The same process will start on Monday, August 21, 2023 on Dresden Road, Manila Road, and Oxline Road.

The department is asking drivers to avoid the roads while the oil is exposed. Road barricades will be up.

If you must drive the roads, drive slow. The oil will splatter on your vehicle.
