mmu-peak-alert

Marshall Municipal Utilities is asking customers to voluntarily conserve electricity, especially between 2 and 6 p.m.

MMU is asking area residents to turn that thermostat up a few degrees, don’t allow the sun to shine through windows, decrease the use of major appliances, and turn off lights and unnecessary electrical devices.

The municipal utility’s system is healthy and performing well in this heat, but conserving and lowering demand during this time will help keep wholesale costs down which translates to savings for the customers.
