The Concordia Board of Aldermen set the 2023 Property Tax Rate during its meeting on Monday, August 21.

A public hearing was held prior to the meeting to hear input on the proposed rates. City Administrator Dale Klussman said the rate was the same as the tax rate from the previous year.

The board approved bill to set the 2023 Property Tax Levy at $.8897 per $100 of assessed valuation.

In other news, the board will hold its next meeting on Thursday, August 31, due to the Labor Day holiday and scheduling conflicts.
