The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned road and bridge work in several area counties from August 28 to September 3.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map.

In Chariton County:
-Route D is closed for a bridge replacement project at the Clarks Creek Bridge through mid-October.
-Route 129 is closed for pavement repairs from Route PP to Salt Lick Avenue from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. August 28.
Route 129 is closed for pavement repairs from Route PP to Fifth Street on August 29. The road will be narrowed to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route MM is closed for pavement repairs from Route 24 to Route J from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. August 30 and 31.

All work is weather permitting.
