
Two men were arrested after a pursuit in Howard County on Thursday, August 24.
According to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic stop was made on a vehicle in Fayette with no license plates. The Howard County Sheriff approached the vehicle at which time it sped off. Sheriff deputies, Fayette and Glasgow police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were led on a 25 minute chase. Highway Patrol troopers deployed spike strips deflating all four tires on the vehicle. The vehicle eventually crashed on the north side of Highway Z near Franklin. Three subjects fled on foot into a wooded area.
After a two hour search, the three subjects were located and taken into custody.
Wesley Mueller, of Stover and Weston Klein, of Versailles were found to have felony arrest warrants in Morgan County. A third subject was released.
No formal charges for the incident have currently been made.
