The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved the first and second reading of a bill changing the city code regarding hunting restrictions during its most recent meeting.

The bill restricts water fowl hunting in the city limits.

The board also approved a street closure request for a November event. The event is the “Downtown Street Lighting,” which is scheduled for Monday, November 13. The street closure closes Mason Street from 2nd Street to the alley on both sides from 4 to 9 p.m.
