
Jerl Keith Combs, 72, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, October 8, 2023, at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
A memorial gathering will begin with remarks by Pastor Jonathan White at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with visitation following until 12 noon. Inurnment will then take place at Fairview Cemetery in Marshall. The Repast will be at the Charles L. Stephenson Multi-Purpose Building (1505 East Vest, Marshall, MO) from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Born April 24, 1951, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Paul E. Combs Sr. and Alice Henderson Rahn. Keith lived in Marshall all of his life and graduated from Marshall High School in 1969. On August 12, 1994, he married Vallory Logan who survives of the home. Keith earned his certification as a Licensed Medical Technician and had worked at Fitzgibbon Hospital, Hahn & Phillips and Carroll County Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Marshall.
In addition to his wife, Vallory; he is survived by their five children: Karla Colbert of Marshall, Tiffany Combs of St. Charles, Courtney Combs (Connie) of Springfield, Gina Poindexter of Springfield and Robert Poindexter (Sarah) of Ozark; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six siblings: Paul Combs Jr. (Roxi) of Tacoma, WA, Chuc Combs (Patti) of Indian Orchard, MA, Cheryl Combs of Marshall, Lance Rahn of Tulsa, OK, Gaylene Robinson (G.W. Robinson-late) of Independence, and Edie Rahn of Renton, WA; as well as many other extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by other siblings and a son, Keith Colbert.
