
Sheryl Lynn Todd-Gilpin, 57, of Slater, MO, died Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Marshall Family Worship Center with Mark Gooden officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Born October 14, 1966, in Sedalia, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Wayne Todd Sr. and Sharon Curry Todd Catalina. Sheryl lived in Saline County most of her life where she was a 1985 graduate of Marshall High School. On July 20, 2012, she married Jim Gilpin Jr. who survives of the home. Sheryl worked at Taco Bell in Marshall for 26 years where she was currently the general manager. She was a member of Marshall Family Worship Center.
In addition to her husband, Jim; she is survived by six children: Khristofer Todd (Amanda) of Alva, OK, Destiny Bryson (Casey) of Slater, Jerrad Gilpin of Boonville, Nickolas Todd of Slater, Jayme Gilpin of Slater and James Gilpin of Slater; eight grandchildren; six siblings: Gerald Todd Jr. of Sedalia, Virginia Todd of Sedalia, William Todd of Sedalia, Theresa Stathem of Sedalia, David Todd of Sedalia and Karen Parks of Marshall; an aunt, Beverly Staton (Carl) of Marshall; an uncle, Gerry Curry of Boonville; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Sharon; and stepfather, Ronnie G. Catalina; maternal grandparents, Genevieve and William Curry; paternal grandparents, Willis and Lilly Todd; an aunt, Frances Paxton (Charles); an uncle, Garry Curry; a nephew, Caleb J. Stathem.
