Graduate student Trace Thompson of Glasgow, along with another student at the University of Missouri, secured a 2nd-place position in the Weed Science Society of America’s poster contest under the direction of Professor and State Extension expert Kevin Bradley.

The contest was held this week in San Antonio, Texas.

During the competition, Trace represented the University of Missouri in the Mizzou Weed Science program, where he competed against several other students from across the country.
