Charles L. “Chuck” Fowler, 74, of Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at his home.

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, with Mary Jo Sartin officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to V.F.W. Post 2646, in Marshall. Born October 30, 1949, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Clarence L. Fowler and Wilma E. Salyer Fowler. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a member of V.F.W. Post 2646 in Marshall. On August 3, 1991, at Community of Christ in Marshall, he married Lucille Mawhiney who preceded him in death on August 17, 2007. He lived in Marshall his entire life and retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center where he was a developmental assistant. He was a member of Community of Christ Church and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Survivors include one stepsister, Sue Knop (Wayne) of Louisburg, KS; two brothers, Mike Fowler (Tina) of Raymore, MO and Ronn Fowler (Vicky) of Holden, MO; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Chuck was preceded in death by his stepmother, Virginia M. “Jenny” Fowler; and one stepbrother, Allen E. “Rocky” Elliott.
