Timothy “Tim” Hunter, 56, of Winter Harbor, ME, formerly of Marshall, MO, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at his home.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the First United Methodist Church sanctuary in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Randolph County, MO or to family choice. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com

 

Born July 30, 1966, in Marshall, he was the son of Robert Hunter (Liz) who survives of Longwood, MO and Rita Bristow (Richard) of Marshall. He was a 1985 graduate of Marshall High School. He was a mechanic working at Diehm’s Tire, Big O Tire and Tiger Air Express to name a few. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, hunting, shooting sports and boating. On July 17, 2017, he married Cara Rimrodt who survives of the home. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marshall.

 

In addition to his father, mother and wife, Tim is survived by one daughter, Hannah Mauzey (Kyle) of Fayette, MO; one son, Mason Hunter (Taylor) of Columbia, MO; two grandchildren, Brooks and Maci Mauzey; a special aunt, Ronda Wickham of Marshall; one stepbrother, Jay Bristow (Laura) of Marshall; two half-brothers, Jerry Hunter and Jason Hunter; his beloved cat, Scrappy; and many extended family members and friends.

 

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J. Farris and Elda Day; and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Florine Hunter.
