A Boonville man was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Howard County on Sunday, March 17.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Quentin Perry failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the road, strike a tree, and overturn before coming to a rest on its top in a creek bed. Perry was reportedly not wearing a seat-belt.

Perry was transported to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries.

The crash occurred at 12:01 p.m. on Missouri 5, north of County Road 303 in Howard County.
