Jerry Johnson, 75, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home, and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born May 9, 1948, in Saline County, MO, he was the son of the late Gerald Glenn Johnson Sr. and Jewell Alice Bacon Smith.  Jerry lived in Marshall most of his life and earned a degree in auto mechanics from State Fair Community College.  He had worked at various local businesses and enjoyed fishing and bingo.

Survivors include one daughter, Glenda Elaine Nash of Marshall; three grandchildren: Courtney Bone, Lacey Cover and Jeffery Alan Cover II; two great-grandchildren, Brinlee Cover and Noah Matthew Woodruff; four sisters: Sally Wilder, Lou Haynie, Shelby Hutcherson and Cheryl Schmidt, all of Marshall; one brother, David Johnson of Slater; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Charles Smith; and one brother, Brian Johnson.
