A Missouri State Highway Trooper pulled over a vehicle for traffic violations on I-70 in Lafayette County.

Following the stop, a Lafayette County K9 unit was dispatched to the scene and detected the presence of narcotics within the vehicle. As a result, a comprehensive search of the vehicle was conducted, resulting in the seizure of 88 pounds of cocaine, effectively removing a significant quantity of illegal drugs from circulation.

No names of those arrested have been released yet. KMMO will update the story as information is received.
