Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to a single-vehicle collision involving injuries on westbound I-70 near the 111-mile marker in Cooper County on Saturday morning.

According to a report from the patrol, the truck’s driver, identified as 55-year-old Adam Arbab, veered off the right side of the road and collided with an overpass.

Arbab sustained minor injuries and was transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Authorities had to undertake the task of extracting the tractor-trailer, which had become lodged beneath the overpass and required unloading.
