The Kansas City Royals fell to the New York Mets 6-1, ending their seven-game winning streak.

The Royals struck first with a home run in the second inning off the bat of Salvador Perez, but the Mets responded six unanswered runs.

Michael Wacha took the loss, going six innings, allowing five runs on ten hits and two walks.

The Royals fall to 9-5 on the season.
