
The Pettis County Commission will unveil its newest efforts, the “Keep Pettis County Beautiful” and “Clean Schools” initiatives. These programs aim to enhance the environmental consciousness and community involvement throughout Pettis County.
In collaboration with Smithton School District and Smithton High School Students, the official announcement ceremony is scheduled to take place at 8:15 a.m. Friday, May 3 at Smithton High School.
The “Keep Pettis County Beautiful” initiative is designed to inspire residents of all ages to take proactive measures in preserving and beautifying their surroundings. By fostering a sense of pride and responsibility for Pettis County, this initiative aims to create a cleaner community for generations to come.
In addition to unveiling the key objectives of the “Keep Pettis County Beautiful” initiative, the Commission will outline opportunities for community involvement and participation. From organized clean-up events to educational workshops, residents will have the chance to actively contribute to the success of this undertaking.
