The Saline County Composite Squadron of the United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol will host the annual Memorial Day Observance Service on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. on the southeast corner of the Marshall Square at the Veteran’s Memorial. Captain Sharae Kelley, Commander of the local Saline County Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol, will be the speaker.

The ceremony will include presentations by the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard, Civil Air Patrol Cadet Color Guard, and Marshall Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). The event is open to the public and will last approximately 40 minutes. Arrow Street will be closed to regular traffic starting at 9:30 a.m. except for handicap parking. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
