Governor Mike Parson has appointed the next county clerk of Lafayette County.

Jessica White of Mayview will fill the role for the remainder of the term, having recently served in an interim capacity. White also serves as secretary and treasurer for the Mayview Fire Protection District, and is president of the Mayview Fire Ladies Auxiliary. She is also the logistics coordinator, dispatch manager, and driver pay manager for an online trucking firm. White’s term is up for election in 2026.

White’s appointment was one of two county vacancies filled Wednesday by Governor Parson. The governor also made 19 appointments to various boards and commissions. Among those appointments is former St Louis mayor Lyda Krewson, who was named to the University of Missouri System Board of Curators.
