A New Cambria man endured moderate injuries after losing control of his motorcycle on a Chariton County roadway Saturday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 58-year-old John Noll experienced a medical issue while riding his motorcycle west on Menefee Road, two miles north of Wien, around 9:30 p.m. Troopers say Noll’s motorcycle slipped on loose gravel, causing the bike to strike into a bridge railing, ejecting Noll. He was taken to a Columbia hospital.
