Jason Moore has witnessed his share of events as the Missouri State Fairgrounds’ facilities manager, but next month will mark his first as the state fair director.

During a visit to KMMO’s studios earlier this week, Moore said his years of maintaining the grounds and buildings have prepared him for the new role, which he began in January.

Moore describes one major change awaiting him from previous fairs.

As the Missouri State Fair’s new director, Jason Moore will oversee capital improvements to the fairgrounds over the next two years, including a new indoor arena and additional camping sites.
