A Pilot Grove man is facing three felony charges including sexual exploitation of a minor.

18-year-old Christopher Dunkerson is behind bars after his arrest Thursday by the Cooper County Sheriff’s Department. According to court documents, Dunkerson is accused of molesting two female victims, aged eight and 11. After interviewing a family member, deputies conducted an investigation into Dunkerson and reportedly found a recording at least one incident in February 2024. Deputies say they also found Dunkerson in the possession of photographs taken of the backsides of employees at a Boonville restaurant without the subjects’ knowledge or consent.

Dunkerson has been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, molestation of a child under 14 years of age, and possession of child pornography. His bond is set at $500,000. No court date has yet been set.
