
The Concordia Board of Aldermen approved the property tax rate for the next fiscal year during its meeting on Monday, August 19.
The board held a public hearing prior to approving the rate. After the hearing, the board set the rate at .8897 percent for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024.
In other news, the board approved an ordinance authorizing an agreement with Toshiba Solutions for implementation of DocuWare, which is a cloud-based software to manage documents. City Administrator Dale Klussman said it will cost $6,200 to build and implement the software, and $345 monthly for the service.
The next board meeting is scheduled to be held at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, the day after Labor Day.
