
The Marshall City Council received a presentation Tuesday night concerning Proposition L, which residents will consider on the Nov. 5 ballot.
The Marshall Public Library district is asking voters to approve a one-quarter cent sales tax that would last 15 years. Mayor Vince Lutterbie recapped the presentation from library director Matt Rahner.
The city council took action on two items, including confirming the appointment of Elizabeth Bellamy as the city’s new attorney, replacing Josh Taylor.
The Marshall city council also approved the property tax levy rates as presented during a public hearing that opened Tuesday’s meeting:
