The Carrollton Town Council approved the 2024 tax rate during its most recent meeting.

The council held a public hearing at 5:45 p.m. prior to the regular meeting, but there were no public comments made. Mayor Susan Bliss says the tax rate remains unchanged at $1.5744 per $100 valuation.

The council then approved the tax rate with an ordinance. The tax rate helps fund the General, Library, and Parks and Recreation Funds.

The next fiscal year begins October 1, 2024.
