Charles “Chuck” Bockman, 86, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery north of Marshall.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to Community Cancer Center or Fitzgibbon Home Health and Hospice.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born March 26, 1938, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Richard Herman Bockman and Aileen England Bockman.  On September 23, 1961, he married Mary Lou James who survives of the home.  Chuck’s career was spent as a truck driver with him retiring from Con-Agra Frozen Foods in Marshall.  He loved spending time and watching his grandkids and great-grandkids, as well as fishing.

In addition to his wife of nearly 63 years, Mary Lou; he is survived by two children, Charlene Bockman of Gravois Mills and Rick Bockman (Regina) of Slater; seven grandchildren: Racheal Howery (Jeremy), Amber Reyes (Rudy), Whitney Barnes (John), Breanna Bockman (Kevin White), Nicholas Steinkuhler (Megan), Lacie Harris (Robert) and Aaron Steinkuhler; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Janet Duffey of Houstonia, Debbie Iman of Sedalia and Alva Aileen Ritchie of St. Louis; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
