
Nancy Ann Arnold, 72, of rural Pettis County, became a citizen of Heaven, on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Nancy was born on April 16, 1952, in Palestine, IL, to the late Frank and Wilma (Wagenknecht) Griffin.
Nancy graduated from Smithton High School in 1970. She the earned her license in nursing from State Fair Community College in 1972.
Nancy met and married, the love of her life, Larry Arnold, who survives of the home. The couple were the first to be married at Maplewood Church on April 3, 1971. Nancy and Larry spent 54 years together as husband and wife. They had two daughters Angela Williams (Charles) and Amanda Arnold, along with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Nancy was a member of Lamine Baptist Church for many years. Nancy’s passion was showing Gods love for people. She was strong in her faith and her love for God. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy’s time on this earth was well spent working hard helping and caring for others. Nancy will be greatly missed but her memory is strong in our hearts and minds.
Celebration of her life will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Lamine Baptist Church in Pilot Grove with Pastor John Dumsday officiating. The family suggests memorials be to the Lamine Baptist Church, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Private inurnment will be at a later date.
