With the City of Marshall making plans to leave the current municipal court building, groups currently using the facility across from City Hall are discussing their options.

Mayor Vince Lutterbie says those discussions are underway with the Municipal Band and their needs at a future location.

Lutterbie adds that the city council is in the process of renewing contracts with the band as well as municipal choir and philharmonic orchestra.

The contracts will come up for second reading at next week’s Marshall City Council meeting.
