The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved a street closure request from Grace United Methodist Church for their “Trunk or Treat” event on Thursday, October 31.

The request was to close 15th Street, between Main Street and Walnut Street for the event from 4:45 to 7 p.m. on Halloween night.

The board also approve a liquor license request from Karl Salyer for Bida’s Italian.

In other news, the board decided to table its six month financial report in order to make some changes and updates. The board will likely review the financial report during its next meeting on Monday, November 4.
