
The Concordia Board of Aldermen considered a quotation to install new playground equipment for the parks system during its meeting on Monday, November 6.
The board addressed the current playground at a previous meeting, where bids were discussed to replace some of the current playground equipment that is non-compliant and unsafe. City Administrator Dale Klussman said the board received a bid of $11,000 for the new equipment.
Klussman said installation of the equipment would cost about $8,700.
In other news, the approved a motion proclaiming Friday, November 8 at Poppy Day in the city.
