Saline County Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden has picked up another committee appointment.

Gooden learned last week that she would serve on the Missouri Supreme Court’s Judicial Finance Commission. She tells KMMO News that she’s looking forward to representing Saline County on the panel.

The Judicial Finance Commission is tasked with resolving budget disputes between counties and their circuit courts. The seven-member panel consists of three associate commissioners, three circuit judges, and an appellate court judge.  Gooden’s appointment was made by Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice Mary Rhodes Russell and does not require a formal appointment from the governor’s office.
