A Bates City man had moderate injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Lafayette County on Thursday, November 28.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the vehicle driven by the 20-year-old Bates City man traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, and then went off the left side of the road again before striking an embankment and overturning.

The driver was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on Route Z, just south of Arey Road in Lafayette County.
