Four marketing students from the Saline County Career Center showcased their skills at the 4th annual AdZou Challenge, earning special recognition for their outstanding performance on December 2, 2024.

Throughout the day, participants enjoyed a tour of the Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia before diving into the competition. The AdZou Challenge is an immersive event that spans an entire day, allowing students to explore the dynamic field of strategic communication while engaging in a statewide advertising competition. Teams from various schools come together to devise an innovative advertising campaign in just 60 minutes, culminating in an 8-minute presentation aimed at persuading judges of their campaign’s excellence.

The victorious team is awarded the AdZou Challenge trophy and gains recognition on both the Missouri School of Journalism’s website and social media platforms.

Representing the Saline County Marketing group were Michelle Lin, Ethan Russell, Peyton Marshall, and Trevor Watkins. During the awards ceremony, the team was honored with the “Most Creative Team” trophy, acknowledging their creativity and presentation skills as recognized by the institute.
