
Evelyn M. Bledsoe, 91, of rural Nelson, MO, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow and Rev. John Frazier officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Slater City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to New Salem Baptist Church. Born February 17, 1933, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late George Tildon Crank and Della Marie Jordan Crank. On November 16, 1950, she married Archie Bledsoe who preceded her in death on June 12, 1998. She lived in Saline County most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church at Marshall Junction.
Survivors include five sons, Ralph L. Bledsoe (Becky), Ronald D. Bledsoe (Vicki), Rick D. Bledsoe (Sherrie), Raymond L. Bledsoe (Lisa) and Robert D. Bledsoe (Gaylene); one daughter, Diana L. Crouch (Doug); 16 grandchildren: Jeremy Bledsoe, Jason Bledsoe, Heather Keith, Joseph Bledsoe, Krystal Bellamy, Gregory Bledsoe, Alexandria Wilson, Joshua Merchant, Paige Bledsoe, Jordan Bledsoe, Jared Bledsoe, Matthew Bledsoe, Linzi Stockman, Jamie Bohlen, Daniel Crouch and Elisabeth Smith; 29 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Mae Saylor of Sedalia, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers, Lewis Erwin Crank, Douglas Tildon Crank, Charles Richard Crank, Samuel Noel Crank and one in infancy, baby Crank; and two sisters, Cora Lee Fuchs and Anna Margaret Crawford; and one great-great-grandson, Taige Bellamy.
