The Concordia Board of Aldermen considered several actions based off recommendations by the Recreation Committee during its meeting on Monday, December 16.

City Administrator Dale Klussman told KMMO News that the board decided to discontinue family passes in favor of a more flexible express pass.

The board also discussed concessions at the aquatic center, expressing interest in moving away from selling heavier foods like hotdogs, and selling more vending food items.

Aldermen then reviewed quotes for several projects at the pool. The board reviewed these quotes to estimate how much it would cost to paint the pool and conduct work in the diving area. Klussman said the city would have to raise up to $110,000 to complete these projects, based off the estimates that were received.
