The Santa Fe School District Board of Education reviewed its Annual Performance Report from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education during a recent meeting.
Superintendent Derek Lark said the board was happy to have strong numbers to report in academic and career readiness. He notes the district scored just under 83 percent.
The board also recognized Elementary Principal Stacey Smith, who was honored as the region’s Outstanding Elementary School Principal by the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals.
Lark said the board then approved several September policy changes and updated the district’s personnel handbook.
